FOSC appeals to like-minded residents of Skagit County and beyond to support us in our mission. We invite you to become a member and also to make decisions in your personal, work, and community affairs that promote the principles of "SmartGrowth".

• Donate to FOSC
  There are two ways to make a charitable contribution to Friends of Skagit County. You can print and mail our donation form with a check, or make a simple and secure donation online, using your credit card, by clicking on the button below.

• Sign up for FOSC emails
  Friends of Skagit County maintains a listserv for people interested in local and regional growth management issues.  List subscribers are invited to use it as a medium for generating discussion on growth-related topics.  FOSC also uses it to alert subscribers about opportunities to participate at public hearings and/or comment on legislation on topics our Board has chosen to endorse or oppose.  Volume of messages averages about 5 – 7 per week. To subscribe to our listserv, please send us an email.  Simply write “subscribe SmartGrowth” in the subject line.
   

• Volunteer with FOSC
  Friends of Skagit County is looking for people interested in helping with the following: Research, Mailings, Newsletters, Computer maintenance, Web page updates and Staffing the FOSC Booth at Community Events. To volunteer, call us on 360-419-0988 and let us know what you are interested and able to help with, and we'll get back in touch with you.
   

• Attend a FOSC Board Meeting
  Meetings are held at our Mount Vernon office (110 N. 1^st Street, Suite C).  Times and dates are on the main page of this website.  All members of our organization are welcome to attend these Board meetings. Please call (360-419-0988) to confirm meeting time.
